Pablo Picasso was my ultimate hero and all my life I was a huge fan. In fact I even wrote a paper for art history about Picasso’s most famous painting the GUERNICA. Although GUERNICA WAS A COMMISSIONED PAINTING AND PICASSO BEGAN WORKING ON THE PAINTING AT THE LAST MINUTE. It is a masterpiece.

The Romans had everything except electricity

Two archaeologists investigate the clay oven and are trying to remove the oven in one piece.

When they where repairing  the urbane wastewater systems in the center of HEERLEN, they found the remains of a Roman clay oven. They succeeded to remove the Roman clay oven in one piece. The oven is now in the backyard of the Theremenmuseum. It takes months until the Roman clay oven is dried and can be conserved.
